I am both proud and honored to introduce myself as the principal of Robious Elementary School. It gives me great pleasure to serve a school deeply rooted in the character traits we appreciate as, “The Robious Way”. As a school entrenched in the community for over 50 years, we have led with perseverance, collaboration, compassion, integrity, and a commitment to quality.

My career path and education prepared me for my current position. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Elizabeth City State University. I also received my Master’s Degree from North Carolina A&T State University. In 2006, I received my Education Specialist Degree from the University of Virginia in Administration and Supervision. Over the course of 20 years I have served as a 1st and 2nd grade classroom teacher, Administrative Resource Teacher, Gifted and Talented Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal.

I am excited to take on this learning journey with you as we grow student learners to be a positive change in the world!

I am proud and honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Robious Elementary School. I am excited to continue my partnership with our students, staff, and families to cultivate a school environment where every Roadrunner feels known, valued, and empowered to take risks as they learn. Together, we will build on our school’s strong foundation to ensure our students grow as curious, reflective thinkers who collaborate confidently with one another.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science and a Master of Teaching degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as a Post-Master’s certificate in Administration and Supervision from Longwood University. My career has spanned elementary and middle school classrooms, STEAM resource instruction, and Adult GED education. Through these varied experiences, I have seen firsthand that students thrive when supported by high expectations, engaging instruction, and strong, trusting relationships.

My husband, Jason, and I are lifelong Chesterfield County residents and the proud parents of our son, Chase, and dog, Roxy. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, fishing on the Potomac River, and cheering on VCU Rams basketball. I also love giving back to our local community by fostering kittens for Chesterfield County Animal Services.

I am thrilled to serve the Robious community in this role and look forward to an incredible school year of shared growth and achievement!
